Source functions are used for specifying the document to be processed. At least one function per application must be selected. Multiple functions can be selected to give users a choice.

Details of functions:

Function	Description
MFP scan	Select this function when you want to process a paper document scanned from an MFP. Selecting this function allows to select 'on MFP' in the Permission Settings of the General Settings, so that the application appears on the MFP.
PC Local File	Select this function if you want to process electronic documents stored in a PC. Selecting this function allows to select 'on PC' in the Permission Settings of the General Settings, so that the application appears on the RSI portal site.
